The Schützen-Festzelt is located near the Lady Bavaria statue. This tent is famous for its lively music and their famous suckling pig dish covered in Bavarian malt beer sauce. They also served many traditional Bavarian dishes that included veg and non veg. Just like many other Oktoberfest beer tents they also sell liquor, wine, schnapps, rosé, champagne and many more drinks. Just like the Löwenbräu-Festhalle, the Schützen-Festzelt prides itself on providing visitors a good time.
There’s a room for almost 5,000 people inside and a beer garden for almost 1,500 outside seats.
Since 1926 The Schützen-Festzelt has been one of the oldest tents at Oktoberfest.It was just a small beer booth Serving beer to just 400 thirsty people. Since then it’s grown up and moved to Bavaria in 1961, and it keeps growing even more and today you can see its present size.

Today, the Schützen-Festzelt attracts a Bavarian crowd because of its traditional feel and crossbow shooting range. Inside the tent, there are shooting ranges for local shooting clubs, especially busy on the first Sunday of Oktoberfest. It’s not the only tent with a crossbow competition; there’s also the Armbrustschützenzelt.
