Welcome my Non veg Oktoberfest fellows to the best meat serving tent of oktoberfest. Ochsenbraterei, Yes you will once you see this tent even for the first time. Ochsenbraterei started as an Ox rotisserie 1881 and has since become one of the largest Oktoberfest Beer tents that still serve the best Ox of oktoberfest. Their love for Ox will be seen before entering the tent, as you’ll see a big Ox Roasting high on the outside of the tent by some wooden people.
Seeing a whole ox being roasted was a big attraction at the time. Because of some technical problems, the ox roasters weren’t at Oktoberfest for a few years. But people wanted them back, so they returned. The people really missed their oxen! They serve about 90 oxen over the period of Oktoberfest. Out of them 90 seven whole oxen get roasted each day and they display the name and weight of each of the seven oxen cooked each day inside the tent.
