Hacker-Pschorr Beer: Tradition in Every Sip
This Brewery (Hacker-Pschorr) was founded in 1417. Hacker Pchorr was run successfully by a married couple Joseph Pschorr and Maria Theresia Hacker. Successful marriage and successful business(Beer can do that).
This Brewery was the leader of all the other brewers in Munich in the 18th century but it was till the couple was alive, After that it split into two, Hacker and Pschorr. It was led by their sons separately.

In 1972 these two breweries merged again. Today, the brewery is located at the same premises as the Paulaner Brewery. Since 2007, Hacker-Pschorr beer has been reintroduced in traditional bottles with swing stoppers, with the iconic “Plopp” sound. At Oktoberfest, the beer, with an alcohol content of 6.0% (2023), is served in the Hacker Festzelt, the Pschorr Festzelt Bräurosl, and the Herzkasperl-Festzelt on the Oide Wiesn. Additionally, Fisch Bäda, Heimer Enten- und Hühnerbraterei, and Poschner’s also offer it.
