Welcome to the Hacker-Festzelt(Hacker-Pschorr), One of the largest and most popular Oktoberfest beer tents.Even with room for 9,300 people this tent still fills up early. So get ready to grab your seats there!
This Tent I mean Hacker-Festzelt is also known as Bavarian Heaven (Himmel der Bayern) Due to its heavenly designed clouds, sky, and stars motif.The ceiling is painted to look like a blue sky with clouds. The words “Himmel der Bayern” (Heaven of Bavaria) are displayed prominently. There is a special feature of this tent. During the nice weather, The roof opens to let the fresh air and sunlight in.this tent has been making beer-drinkers happy since 1907.
This great tent has paintings of Munich landmarks and scenes of Bavarian life, like people drinking beer and being taken away in wheelbarrows. There’s also a spinning bandstand in the middle of the tent, all created by Rolf Zehetbauer, an Oscar winner for designing sets.
It hosts the official closing ceremonies of Oktoberfest. During these ceremonies, the lights are dimmed, sparklers are lit, and all 9,300 visitors sing together to their favorite Oktoberfest songs.
This tent is like your cozy home-away-from-home, where the party is always rocking and attracts a younger crowd. They serve Hacker-Pschorr beer and tasty Bavarian dishes at prices that won’t break the bank. Hacker-Pschorr brewery has been around since 1417, way before Oscars or hit songs like “Sierra Madre” were even a thing. The Hacker-Festzelt is their main spot at Oktoberfest, but you can also find their brews at Pschorr-Bräurosl and Herzkasperlzelt in Oide Wiesn.
